Visiting Oxford, Mississippi

The historic city in northern Mississippi was founded in 1835 and named after Oxford, England. The University of Mississippi, or Ole Miss, is at the heart of Oxford, but it is also home to William Faulkner’s home, Rowan Oak, a nationally renowned bookstore, Square Books, and James Beard award winning restaurants, including City Grocery.
